Image guidelines
If your original image is not a digital file (e.g. digital illustration or collage, digital photograph), please follow these guidelines:
- Photograph the artwork straight on, not on an angle.
- Flat, natural light is best (try photographing the work outside on an overcast day). Ensure that the lighting is even and there are no shadows or bright spots on the work.
- If the work is currently framed under glass, remove it from the frame and glass to eliminate glare.
- Photograph the artwork only – do not include the frame or background details. Crop the photo to the edges of the artwork.
