What time is check in and check out?
Check in is at 3pm and check out is at 11am.

Can I store bags before checking in or after checking out?
Absolutely! We’re happy to store your bags. A luggage tag will be given to you, which will need to be presented at the Front Desk when you’re ready to collect your items.

Where can I park?
We offer self-covered parking for $25.00 plus tax/night exclusively for hotel guests, located just behind the hotel access from Park Avenue on a first come first serve basis with limited space available. As an alternative parking lot is available by vising at https://newmarketmainstreet.com/parking/ The nearest parking from the hotel is P3 on the map.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation policies vary depending on your booking method. When booking directly with us, cancellations are accepted until 3PM, the day before your arrival. For bookings made through third-party platforms, please refer to their specific policies.

Do you have special room rates or packages?

Is there WIFI?
Absolutely! Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout all our spaces and guest rooms. You can find the Wi-Fi name and password in your room, or you may contact the Front Desk for assistance.

What is your pet policy?
We’re excited to welcome your furry friends! Please give us a call before your stay to ensure everything is set for your pet. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  1. The pet weight limitations are at a maximum of 50 pounds. If your pet exceeds this, please reach out to info@thepostmarkhotel.ca so that we can learn about the personality of your dog and look at alternative arrangements if needed.
  2. We charge a pet fee of $25.00 per night. If you’re staying with us for 3 nights or more, the total fee is $75.00. This will be applied and charged to your guest room folio upon check-out.
  3. A waiver must be signed, agreeing to a potential $250 cleaning fee if your pet causes any damage to the room.
  4. Depending on your pet’s personality, you may leave them in the room unattended if proper measures are in place to ensure no damage is done during your absence. We ask you to remember to place a Do Not Disturb sign, so our housekeeping team knows not to enter.

Is there a gym?
Yes, the gym is open 24 hours and available for hotel guests only.

What other common areas can I enjoy?
Check out our awesome lounge on the main floor! We’ve got a pool table, comfy couches, an 85” TV, and board games—perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine or coffee.

What restaurants are available at The Postmark Hotel?
We have two fantastic restaurant options for you! Our Lobby Restaurant is perfect for casual bites and cocktails with friends. For a more refined experience, head over to our rooftop restaurant, The Overlea, and enjoy stunning views of Main Street Newmarket. Make sure to visit both during your stay! Walk-ins are welcome, or you can make a reservation through our Front Desk or on OpenTable.

Is the hotel wheelchair accessible?
Our common areas and restaurant outlets are accessible for everyone! We also offer an accessible room type: the Universal King to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. If you require special accommodation, please email us at info@thepostmarkhotel.ca before booking to ensure we can meet your needs.

What is your smoking policy?
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited throughout our premises. A $250 fee will apply for any violations.

What is your policy to ensure a safe stay for all guests & staff?
The Postmark Hotel is a safe space where all are welcome. We take every precaution towards providing an inclusive environment for team members, guests and vendors. We strive to maintain an environment that is free from violence, bullying, harassment, sexual harassment and/or discrimination. The Postmark Hotel endorses and embraces the Canadian Human Rights Act and the Ontario Human Rights Code, which prohibits harassing or discriminatory practices.

Is an accessible entrance available?
Yes, we have an accessible entrance door located on Park Avenue for guests with walkers, wheelchairs, or other mobility needs.
